It has been an amazing journey coming to Amarillo, Texas. In my life I've traveled extensively around the world, visiting more than 30 countries and 49 out of 50 U.S. states. | 1953 - 1971 |
Boonton, New Jersey

I was born in Morristown, New Jersey, and grew
up in Boonton, New Jersey until I was 18. Even before that, however, I
traveled extensively with my parents all over the United States. |
| 1971-1972 |
San Antonio, Texas |
In 1971 I graduated from Boonton, High School,
in New Jersey, and then attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Here
I married Gloria Medina and fathered Christopher Ryan Boyd, who still lives
in San Antonio with his mother. |

Lived a short while in Boonton again after my
first marriage split up. |
| 1973-1975 |
Brooklyn, New York |
I joined ISKCON, the largest publisher of
Eastern Philosophy books in the world, and became an entry-level employee. I
stayed with the same organization for the next 29 years. Eventually I became a guru, sannyasi,
president and CEO of Bhaktivedanta Manor, our European headquarters. |

Long Island, New York |
Along with my friend Edward Kelly (Adarsi dasa),
established the first ISKCON center on Long Island, NY |
| 1975-1976 |
Vrindavan, India
 |
Lived in India for a year, where I served as
secretary to the President Aksayananda Swami, temple commander and
head pujari. Also traveled selling books. |
| 1976-1977 |
Tehran, Iran |
Traveled overland through Pakistan, Afganistan,
Iran and Turkey, eventually settling back in Tehran for a year where I
worked as an English language teacher and lived at the ISKCON
restaurant in downtown Tehran. |
| 1977-1979 |
Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford, England |
Served as chief recruiter/trainer at
ISKCON's Bhaktivedanta Manor for two years before transferring to our new
headquarters at Chaitanya College in Worchester, UK. |
| 1979-1982 |

Here I continued heading up the largest ISKCON recruiting and training center in the world. |
1982-1983

London, England |
Served during this time as president of
our downtown London center at 10 Soho Street, London. Accepted the sannyasa
title in 1982 while visiting Mayapur, India and became recognized as an
ISKCON world leader. |

Brooklyn, New York |
On special request to establish a training
center in New York, I returned to Brooklyn and lived at 305 Schermerhorn
Street where I developed a highly successful program. |
| 1984 |
North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia,
Florida, Texas |
Lived and traveled in a motor home for about
six months selling books during this period. |
| 1985 |
San Francisco, CA |
Stayed for about three months at ISKCON's
downtown San Francisco center on Carls Street. |
| 1986-1987 |
Berkeley, California |
After being honored as ISKCON "guru" in 1982 during a visit to Mayapur, India, I moved to Berkeley,
California. |
| 1987-1989 |
Seattle, Washington |
Stayed in Seattle. Became ISKCON regional
secretary for Washington. |
| 1989-1997 |
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada |
Lived and traveled from ISKCON Vancouver,
located in Burnaby, BC, an outskirt of Vancouver, Canada. During this time I
became the ISKCON regional secretary for Western Canada and board member of
ISKCON Vancouver. I traveled extensively during this period across the
United States and the world. |
| 1997-2001 |

Temple President and CEO of the mansion donated
to ISKCON by ex-Beetle George Harrison. |
| 2001-2002 |
All over the world |
Lived in airplanes all over the world. |
| 2002 |
Midland, Texas |
Met my now wife and moved to Midland, Texas |
| 2003-present |
Amarillo, Texas |
Presently working as a correctional officer for
the State of Texas. |
