The Great Lake
This is a picture of my wife Shelly and step-daughter Leanna on the shore of Lake Erie in Erie, Pennsylvania. We embarked on this trip in August, 2006, starting from our home near Amarillo, Texas. My mother and brother both live in Connecticut, so I try to visit them at least once a year. This year we decided to swing up via Akron, Ohio, and when Leanna mentioned she had never seen the Great Lakes or an ocean (she grew up in Missouri), I had an idea to take everyone to see Lake Erie, Niagara Falls and the Atlantic Ocean.
