For your information - During the motorcycle trip we averaged between 38.95 mpg according to the GPS and 40.86 mpg according to the odometer. On one day we did 49.61 mpg from San Francisco to Bakersfield, which was our best mile per gallon day (I don't know why. Might have something to do with the quality of gasoline, or the fact that it was all highway driving.). The trip was 5,842 miles long. |
