Picture #12 - Craters of the Moon, Idaho - August 13, 2005
I noticed a small park called Craters of the Moon studying a map I was uploading to my GPS for the motorcycle. Never having been there, but seeing it was in the direction we wanted to head out of Yellowstone in Wyoming, it seemed like an interesting place to explore. Well, that's an understatement. Shelly and I were blown away by this amazing volcanic park. Here I am standing at the top of the spout of an extinct volcano, one of many that created this eerie, moonlike scenery.
